Over the recent Matariki weekend, I took a short break down to Tauranga and Mt Maunganui on the east coast of the North Island. I was lucky with the weather and got to explore the area, as well as some stops at Karangahake Gorge and McLaren Falls on my journey to/from Auckland. I hope you enjoy them!
